PERGASINGAN HILL SOFT TREKKING | 1 DAY TREK
Explore the unique natural landscape of East Lombok to the top of Pergasingan Hill in a day. If you love hiking and nature, there is no better way to get the most out of your time in Lombok than with a 6-7 hours adventure in the stunning Sembalun Valley.
Kick off with an early morning hotel pick up and head to discover the 1200 meter high plateau framed by volcanoes and mountain peaks. Start your hike up to the top of Pergasingan - known as one of the best spots for soft trekking in the region. The flat field at the top of the hill is perfect for building a campsite and taking a break over a delicious local lunch. After the break, get ready for the journey down the hill and a convenient drop off right at your hotel.
The stunning natural scenery, rice-field, the foggy Sembalun village is enhanced by the view of Mount Rinjani. Pergasingan hill is located on a hill north of the Sembalun Village with 1,700 meter above sea level, usually some visitor use this place for training before trek Rinjani Mountain, but sometime this hill has been in use for an extreme sport such as paragliding, mountain bike etc. You can enjoy a beautiful scenery around Pergasingan Hill, also known as paradise for photographers.
TREKKING ITINERARY:
06.00 - 07.00 am: Pick up From Hotel - Sembalun
Meet with our Driver at Hotel's Lobby or Bangsal harbor, smooth drive to Sembalun for approx 2-3 hours
09.00 - 10.00 am: Sembalun - Bukit Pergasingan
Arrival at sembalun, meet our local guide, take a rest and get some short briefing from our trekking guide and prepare all the stuff for soft trekking. Once everything is set, the journey begins !!! trail leading through the hills Pergasingan tended vegetable gardens and rice fields that surround Sembalun Lawang. The first stop is on the ridge of the Pergasingan Hill, a spot distance of approximately 1.5 hours of Sembalun Lawang village. the ridge trail leading through a very extensive grasslands. enjoy snacks time.
10.30 am: The Ridge - Pergasingan Hilltop
The trail between the ridge to the summit is not too steep, after 1.5 hours you will reach Pergasingan Hilltop, a place where you can watch the entire village of Sembalun and hills that surround it.
12.00 pm: Bukit Pergasingan Hilltop - Lunch
When you are at the top of Pergasingan Hill, you'll be amazed on how beautiful this world were created and your mind will be pampered by the beauty of the universe in its unique beautiful design. Your lunch will be served here. After lunch you will be invited to surround the hilltop Pergasingan where all sides hilltop offering different panoramic views. The western part of the hill you will clearly see how beautiful Mount Rinjani clearly visible. The peak of the southern part offer beautiful scenery of rice fields of the Sembalun's farmers that seemed to deliberately arranged but all that was there with naturally. Overall, you will enjoy and breathe the air that normally carried by the wind that accompanied us to be relieving stress or boredom.
14.30 pm: Bukit Pergasingan - Sembalun
Depart Pergasingan Hill in easy walk to the parking area where the car is waiting to take us back to your hotel.
Note:
Minimum participant age: 12 years old
Wear robust and comfortable shoes. Casual sandals or open-toe shoes are not suitable for this trail which can be rocky at times
